Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University Semra and Vefa Küçük Faculty of Health Sciences started education and training in the city center of Nevşehir under the body of Erciyes University as a Health School in the 1997-1998 academic year. With the establishment of Nevşehir University with the Law No:5662 published on May 17 2007, it was connected to Nevşehir University and was named Semra and Vefa Küçük Health College. With the Presidential Decree No: 1385 on 01 August 2019, it continues its education as "Semra and Vefa Small Faculty of Health Sciences".
Semra and Vefa Küçük continue their education at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nursing. In accordance with the letter of the Council of Higher Education dated 19.12.2019 and numbered E.95565, the departments of Nutrition and Dietetics, Child Development, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Health Management and Gerontology were opened. Nutrition and Dietetics, Child Development, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Health Management and Gerontology departments were opened. These departments are not yet active in education.
